Project Management and Sustainable Development
The work “Project Management and Sustainable Development”, through its addressed theme, aligns with global concerns regarding project management and sustainable development. It includes data and information on the basic theoretical concepts related to the absorption of European funds, namely: the EU structural funds for the period 2007-2013, Romanian operational programs for the period 2007-2013, and the types of projects that can be funded from structural funds. Thus, attracting European funds must be a priority and constant concern for decision-makers at every level, so that this action can be materialized in a short period of time.
This work is aimed at specialists in various fields, with a focus on the development and management of projects, especially for sustainable development projects in rural areas.
The dynamics of globalization encompasses a multitude of opportunities but also involves a series of potential risks. The great challenge is to efficiently manage the globalization process by promoting environmental sustainability and the development of the human race.
