Waste Management and Globalization

The interaction between globalization and the integrated solid waste management process has been rarely analyzed and researched, even though there are many interesting works on the relationship between globalization and the environment.

The relationship between globalization and the environment is determined by the connection between the environment and the economy. The phenomenon of globalization has gradually brought various changes to the concept of “environment.” A large part of the population believes that environmental issues cause global concern, especially considering that the environment is a shared heritage of humanity.

The dynamics of globalization encompass a multitude of opportunities but also involve a series of potential risks. The great challenge is to efficiently manage the globalization process by promoting environmental sustainability and the development of the human race.
